learning illustrator and flash question

Postby vaako on 05/16/2013, 9:36 am

hi there
i'm currently learning flash and i was wondering something

what"s the point to learn how to draw in flash if i know how to draw in illustrator?
i'll have to import the vectors in flash and everything will be fine
and by the way illustrator is way better than flash when it comes to draw isn"t it?

maybe you'll have some suggestions on this

cheers

Illustrator's drawing tools are far superior to Flash, but it's very worth at least understanding the basics of the tools in Flash

AI or EPS files don't always import correctly, can be too complicated, or need slight adjustments, and will sometime need to be modified in Flash. It's also often much quicker just to draw a quick piece of something inside Flash rather than going back to Illustrator then drawing, saving, importing, turning into a symbol.
