Should I learn HTML, and Javascript?

Postby raylux on 12/25/2014, 7:38 pm

Would that be the most efficient way to learn how to write my own After Effects expressions?

I know After Effects is Java based but learning javascript without first learning html seems kind of unwieldy.

Also does anyone know about the COFFEE language used in Cinema 4D ? Would learning Javascript help with that as well?

JavaScript has nothing to do with HTML. You can learn all sorts of JavaScript trickery without ever creating an actual web site. And nobody uses COFFEE anymore. With R16 it is officially deprecated and will not be developed any further. Learning Python is way to go.
