expression for light saber tip

I've been asked to create a light saber for a little corporate video. The guy is holding a handle without a "blade" that would have allowed me to tracked the tip. He's not moving around much for this shot, but of course he's not steady either. There is enough handle showing that I tracked two points to get the position and rotation of the handle. What I can't figure out is how to make the end point tie into the tracking data that was tracked on the handle so that the tip moves correctly. I would think an expression could make this work but not sure how to do that. Any suggestions on how to do this?

thanks

I would use Mocha AE to track the top round section of the saber, then copy the tracking data to a null and parent any saber iteration to the null.
