Rendering problem - bitmaps in Custom Layers don't refresh

I recently updated to AE CC 2017 and have this problem (I’ll try to explain best I can):
I have a plane in Element and I’m using Custom Layers. On custom layer I have bitpmaps (jpg files) that lasts 10 frames each, one after another. Just images sequence. When I animated plane, texture on plane was changing due to bitmaps on custom layer. In AE 2015 there was sometimes refreshing problems in view, but render was always accurate. Now it’s quite the opposite.
Looks like bitmaps are cached somewhere. I tried clear everything, like Purge, restart computer, even options in „Secret” preferences menu, changing different render options, incudind in Element.
But bitmaps dont want to refresh, esspecially in render. Preview can by good, but in render there are wrong bitmaps.

Only way I could make it to work somehow after few hours of trying was:
Change „Resolution/Down Sample Factor Popup” on that frame to any unused before, for exapmle from Full to Half.
Then change it back. Than change some animated parameter in Element menu, for example Random Seed.
Only that way I could make that viev refreshes to correct bitmap and render is correct.
But I have to do that every time manually, every 10 frames.

Looks like only that one buton AND change in Element makes AE to refresh correct bitmap from Custom Layer.

I will appreciate any sugestions and feedback from you. Thanks.

Hi Flilip75,

Same here... :(

Even though my precomposed custommaps show me frame exactly what i want to see, the ellement 3D layer shows either a wrong frame or video sequence.
I think it has to do with moving/streching 3D ellement layers in time. Once the layer is being altered (example moved back or forth a few seconds) texture maps seem to go crazy.

In My case i re-used and old AEP project and made changes in layer timming and custom maps, after which things went crazy.
From there on it's hard to get things lined up again. The tips you're giving do help but in the end it feels like the plugin is somewhat buggy.

i sugest a bug fix in the nearest update :)
