I personally love Mr. Klay and VFXBRO, but Film Riot is a great recourse for people who don't have a budget. I have like one or two tutorials on my channel and my alternate vfx channel.

I also enjoy Dave Dougdale and Phillip Bloom for equipment reviews.

For some reason I didn't think FIlm Riot was active anymore, glad to see they're still making content.

Nice selection of tutorials.

Not sure about lonearcherfilms though. All he does is copy other tutorials on youtube.

Even his flash stuff is copied from another channel. But each to there own

Jake Moreau from the Ukraine does a good job with special effects from recent movies for people who are a bit more experienced. He goes rather fast with his explanations, so you can expect to be stopping the video often, and backing it up. Plus his English is very good, and he has a cool accent.

He supplies project files and assets, too. Most are free, but I think he sells some of the more involved ones.

My list is

Video Co Pilot (obviously)
After Effects with Mikey https://www.youtube.com/user/LongLiveMikey
Film Masters https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQe7WMyQr5Z3XQs8sIQo2Pw

Film Masters is my fav channel atm. He has easy to follow tutorials. great projects with files and is catered for all ADOBE products not just AE.
