LF: Old VHS intro with Black Panther and Jungle animals

Postby sterndevon on 10/14/2017, 10:37 am

I am currently gathering some mood boards for a project and I remembered this short intro sequence (possibly an ident) which depicted a number of exotic animals in a jungle or forest. I believe it was in black and white or possibly sepia, 80's but possibly older, live action. I really liked the mood of the piece but the problem is I can't seem to find it on youtube, google, etc.

Here are some things I remember about it:

- Live action
- Looks like it was shot on location
- Black and white, possibly sepia or other tone
- Big black cat featured in some portion (Maybe Jaguar, leopard, or panther)
- May have featured other wildlife (Maybe bird, snake, generally exotic animals)
- May have been an ident piece for a production studio
- May have been a piece raising awareness for wildlife conservation
- May have played before or after "George of the Jungle" 1979 Cartoon for VHS
- May have some connection with the CBS/FOX Home Video logo ident (I keep seeing the logo in my memory, but it may have just played right before)
- Could have appeared before older cartoons on VHS
- Feels a lot like Jungle Book (1967) intro sequence but Live Action
- May have played before Jungle Book (1967)

I know it's not a lot to go off, but I'd really appreciate any help. If you know what I am talking about then maybe you can add some things you remember about it too.

Thanks!
