Im a begginer and I could use some help, plz

Postby Kundox on 10/23/2016, 2:43 pm

First of all, Greetings to everybody
Im kinda new in after effects, except for doing the VC´s tutorial with the lightsaber.

Now, I wanted to do is an animated scenario (a gif when completed) from a videogame using a 2 still images: 2 cosplayers friends and a CG Background, Adding some moovement to the clouds, and maybe some fantasy particles floating around (the orbs in the sword glow).

But first, is it posible to correct the light in the characters: especially in the boots where you can tell the other source of light from the original photo, and making the front floor the same color as the background, using only AE?
If anyone can give some advice it would be great!

It would be difficult to walk you through correcting that image and adding effects to it if you don't have a basic understanding of how to use AE in the first place. I HIGHLY recommend going through a decent beginner's course first to get yourself familiar with all of the foundational aspects of the software first. (Like Andrew Devis' tutorial series on Creative COW, for example.)
