3D elements get cropped...
Probably a noob question, but I didn't see anything from the boards for this, so I'll ask anyway:
Why do the 3D elements get cropped to the bounding area of the solid where Element 3D is applied? Is there an option I'm not clicking?
Here's a screen cap of what I'm currently facing:

Hi E3DChallenged, welcome. It does crop to the solid's dimensions as that's the area where it creates the 3D space it lives in. The solid should be left as a 2D plane. You move around Element by adding a camera and moving it around, not by moving the layer.

You can always create a bigger solid to the layer element is applied to. But otherwise you shouldn't move the actual layer, just the 3d object with either a camera or the position/rotation/scale in the element options.
