Mesh Warp in Antient Times Tutorial

When I put the Mesh Warp effect on my particle waves layer I don't get the grid lines to be able to manipulate them. Am I doing something wrong? (4:22 mark in video)

Does the mesh warp come after the particle effect? If so, try to precompose and apply the mesh warp to the pre comp.

Interesting, yes the Warp was after the particles. I did what you suggested and the grid did show up. Thanks for the help! Happy New Year!
