At present we can only watch the tutes online (well the ones now on series one)
Why not have them for sale downloadable via iTunes for say 79p per tute?
That way all the new ones can be bought and we can skip the ones we don`t need?
We get access to off line tutes and you guys make 79p per tute?
C`mon thats a win-win surely?
Tell you what I won`t even ask for a cut of the profit for my idea, just send me say action essentials as a thank you.
Hey your welcome.

Re: Hows this for an idea? Pay per Tute Itunes style
every 50 or so tutorials they make a DVD is u wanna buy that, i dont understand why u would want to downloa tutorials from itunes and pay for them when u can just watch them online for free...
If for any reason i ever need video to go i just screen capture it and bam done...
hope that helped...
However, the only thing i would pay for would be what i call tutorials with some awesome sauce added to them, kinda like AEtuts plus, if andrew puts out exclusive tutorials for more advanced useres, im sure people would pay for that. I know i would.

Don`t get me wrong, I bought the series 1.
I`d just rather have access and be willing to pay for newer tutes offline So I can work away from a new connection when I have too.
I know I could google and d/load them. But I kinda think it would be nice to actually pay for them. Call me old fashioned.

Let me get this straight, you wanna take something thats free and charge for it? you my friend are going to be a great business man along with the guy that invented bottled water.
HMmm like i said the only types of tuts i would pay for are special more advanced tutorials, perhaps AK can bring in JJ abrams and he can teach us how to add emotion to a clip using nothing but lens flares or he can do a collaboration with Stu and do a videocopilot edition sin city tutorial staright from the horses mouth (not that im calling Stu a horse, its an expression
) That sort of cool stuff IDK
BTW i have a bag of air im selling for 100 bucks let me know if ur interested

Oh you mean like series one tutorials that are available on DVD? Yeah that would never work would it?
I am merely saying rather than have to wait for a series 2 and perhaps paying for tutes you don`t actually want why not give the customer the freedom of choice by allowing them to download via Itunes or such like the tutorials they *want* at full quality etc..
I know some people here struggle with the thought of paying for something. (apparent by the amount of 12-16yr olds who have AE, MAYA & Boujuo on here yet still ask for basic help) But I for one believe in paying for a product/service such as provided by Mr Kramer & team.

May I suggest you wear it over your head until it runs out, then wear it another 30 mins or so...?
No? Oh well...
As an aside MR Kramer if you do read these, please give the idea some thought.

If you are using firefox just download "DownloadHelper" and it enables you to download embedded files and view them on VLC.

Doesn`t that kinda defeat the whole point of series one on dvd?

Indeed.
But VCP also delete some old tutorials that can't just be watched on this site. You need the DVD to see the delete ones. Plus the added content. I guess that's why Andrew never promotes that DVD and suggests it's a good purchase in order to support the site.

Really?
Which ones are deleted? I actually bought series one I will check the `deleted` tutes..
I know about the extras etc.. but I still feel it would be a good idea to let the peeps pick & choose

Im just playing with you dude LOL sheesh
Nways like Unreal said you can just download the stuff or screen cap it if you really want it. I dont know how expensive it is to get a itunes thing going but i think mor people would rather watch it or download it than pay for it on iTunes... The DVD is still sort of a good idea because of the extra contents, IDK thats my 2 cents. Besides i dont think people bought the DVD's because they really wanted them, it's probably more to support the sit is all, i mean if you really had a need to take a tut with you there are faster cheaper ways.
I dont mind buying stuff and i think VCP is a powerful platform to launch things from. If AK did special tutorials or sold more stuff people would buy them. IDK and i guess on that logic itunes might work, i think its kinda risky selling the free tutorials but ehh thats just me.

Re: Hows this for an idea? Pay per Tute Itunes style
I think he only made the suggestion for the convenience, without using a firefox plugin to download the .flv, and watch it offline.
Video Copilot do have a lot of "special tutorials", such as the bullet dvd, tutorials and assets from Action Essentials 1 and 2, Serious FX Training, and what not. The Series One DVD was a good idea, I bought one - being able to watch it offline prevents me from having "bandwidth" issues at my workplace, with over 100 employees on my floor, we get a limit per day and VC's high-quality stream eats it up nicely. It's not just for "support". The bonus content makes it all worth it lol

Re: Hows this for an idea? Pay per Tute Itunes style
I download all the tuts with Firefox and download helper simply because I run my Res at 1024x768 on a 21" monitor. Watching them online makes me have to scroll around the page. Viewing them with a media player lets me scale them down so I can see the whole thing.
