My Helix Render

My first real render. I've made lots of objects inside maya but haven't really ever gotten round to rendering them, so im proud of this image,it turned out quite nice.
Used Maya's Mental Ray to render....due to my slow arse system took a little over half an hour!!!
then adjusted inside photoshop
just a simple Sci-Fi Helix Tube Duplicated and Red, Green and Blue colours added seperatly to each one.

simple and creative. shows a good basis of knowledge in the program. (congratulations, i cant stand maya so I am always impressed when somebody is good with that program).
