epic shatter: glass ball isn't transparent, help?

I followed the tutorial but somehow the glass ball looks more like a mirror instead of glass ( it isn't transparent). See attachements for pics of settings, before and after shatter.

I tried finding a solution to this problem online but all the suggestions wich I found did not work for me.

Does anyone know what I did wrong???
