All done in Cinema 4D. Buildings were painted and textured in Bodypaint. Composited in AE.

Yes, it is my output resolution. The movie was shot on a Panasonic digital camera that happens to record movies(crazy, I know). At least this resolution grants me that maybe someday I will finish the movie. Some animation renders still take few hours to finish. I also did some matte paintings at a higher resolution, but it was mostly a photoshop work (and I'm not that happy with the results
).
Highest resolution I work with on this project is this:

This one I modeled and textured in C4D then did some more painting work in PS and finishing in AE.
