Creating Fluid and Paint Flow Simulation

Postby augemono on 10/17/2017, 1:30 pm

Hello all!

I've been scouring the internet and training sites but I have yet to find a comprehensive tutorial (or any education for that matter) on how to simulate paint/fluid pouring in applications like Ae or C4D.

Here is an example of what I'm trying to do.

I realize there are a ton of ways to accomplish this animation, ie. RealFlow, etc. But I guess I am trying to get it done quickly and cheaply ;)

Any input you guys could point me toward would be super appreciated.

Thnx!

Quick, cheap, good. Pick two. So in your case it won't be good

Realflow, x particles etc are your best bets to do this properly.

You could probably get an okayish result in cinema and the pose morph. I'll be honest, that doesn't look like realflow or XP. It's not very real looking itself, which makes me think it was made using pose morph or some of modifiers to fake it.
