Hello,

Can anyone give advice on starting out with animation videos?
I use illustrator for vectors and was thinking of trying animation, perhaps using After Effects? Or can somebody recommend software?
How well do they sell in comparison to real life videos? Is it possible? Can I cycle the video forward/backward and pause it at the correct point etc?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I'd highly recommend After Effects to create animation videos. I suggest you watch the first few of Andrew's basic training videos before jumping all in to give you a good idea of what you're getting in to.

If you think you can handle AE and its complexities, keep watching more and more of Andrew's videos and practicing more and more on your own.
