"Metropolitan Pack" in "Cinema 4D R18"?

Postby jeffroid on 06/25/2017, 8:01 am

I bought MetropolitanPack yesterday because I thought that it would work with Cinema 4D (R18, full version). The setup did run successful... but what now? The only components that have been installed are in "C:\Users\xxx\Documents\VideoCopilot" but there are no OBJs, no C4Ds, only DDSs und JPGs. Also there is no plugin, that can handle those components in "Cinema 4D"!
What is wrong? Perhaps my understanding about the prerequisites??? A 120€ mis-understanding :-(

In your products under the downloads for Metropolitan, there is a button for "Alternate Files". That's what you want. The main installer just does the versions of the models for use in Element 3d in After Effects.

Bingo... that you very much for the Help.
I've have seen the "alternate downloads" but I misunderstood the title "Alternate 3D Formats (not Required)"... perhaps it should be: "Alternate 3D Formats (FBX,MAX,OBJ,C4D)"
