E3D - Cascading sequential text animation

Postby Todd L8R on 01/16/2017, 2:22 pm

Hey,
I am wanting to do a text fly in effect with Element 3D in which the letters of the word fly in from Z space one at a time sequentially from left to right.
The only way I can figure out to do it results in only randomized fly in back to home 0 by using the Multi-object and displace.
Is there a way I can do this with element 3D or do I need to go to Cinema 4D or Maya for something like that?
Thanks in advance for your help.

No need to leave element, just make each letter its own group, then just animate each group independently as desired.

Or you could use Element's animation engine which was built to do just this sort of thing...

I haven't dabbled with the animation engine yet.
I'll give that a try. Thank you for your reply.
