Max Viewport Issue
Hey, I've upgraded to max 2012 a while ago, and have had nothing but pleasant surprises with the viewport and all. Until now.
I intend to create a simple outdoors scene. something like a futuristic city landscape, a bunch of buildings, nothing really fancy, it's mostly boxes, non-smoothed stuff and the like, as it is gonna be just a setting for a detailed model, which is to scale (in meters)
Now the thing is that, no matter how simple my geometry gets, my viewport kinda loses it because of the scale being kind of big and I stop seeing both the wireframe and my gizmo, whereas on the detailed model scene, which is a 200 meter thing with a million polygons, it doesn't even blink a bit, it all works really smooth.
I tried starting out a new scene for trial purposes and all, but it keeps on happening.
I'm thinking it's some weird limitation from the new viewport engine which I quite don't understand.
Has anyone ran into this?
Thanks in advance!
