How to show colors through black & white alpha in Premiere?

Postby mbryson76 on 03/28/2016, 9:49 am

Hello, I'm new here and have a very dumb question - sorry.

I'm working in Premiere and have a bunch of animated .mov files that are alphas. It's mostly lines moving. The lines are black and the background is white. And my objective is to make the lines be one color and the background be another color. I can only get the lines to be one color by selecting "Screen" in the Opacity settings. But my background is staying white no matter what I try. Any ideas? Thank you.

If your goal is simply to change the color of black and white to something else, use the effect "Tint".

Set black to one desired color, and set white to another desired color.
