canon c100 clip import problem

Postby ccfilms on 06/24/2015, 6:56 pm

Hi, not sure if anyone has the same problem, I've recorded a 2hour show non stop and imported into sony vegas and adobe premier.

when I opened the stream folder, there are 10 files or so. however, on the playback in the camera there is only 1 file.

anyway, I've dragged the clips into the timeline in both editing softwares, the length of each one is about 11:23mins and about 1.99GB. I've put the clips right next to each other, but there are missing frames and doesn't play smoothly. However, in the camera's playback, at that 11:23mins time, it plays perfectly.

does anyone know how to solve this issue? I have a temporary fix which is to use the ninja amotos recorder, but would like to go without it. I would like to have 1 clip that will play smoothly.

thank you

If you copy ALL of the files from the camera's card (not just the video files) to a folder on your editing drive and use Premiere Pro's media browser, it should behave itself.
