ProRes Export for Windows?

Postby barkingrhinos on 07/29/2014, 1:22 pm

I want to upload to Vimeo in ProRes (Proxy) to maintain finer detail, avoid banding, etc. but I run Windows 7.. I came across this:

Has anyone used this or know of another way to export to ProRes using a windows computer? I have CS6 and Davinci Resolve Lite (10 currently).

FFMPEG supports ProRes since years, just check the reference guide and make a simple script for the encoding. :)

3:30, it's for a final upload of a contest music video. But I also want to be able to do it in the future for my uploads

I dunno if you missed my post but FFMPEG supports ProRes so just download that and some front end, if you don't want to mess with command line stuff, just google 'ffmpeg gui' and you'll find several good.
