Fraps to timelapse?

Postby Effects on 03/30/2014, 4:44 pm

Well, I were using Fraps function where it takes a screenshot every chosen second, I did each 3 seconds and wanted to make a timelapse out of it using Sony Vegas.

Problem is, the names of the files doesn't goes in number order, instead it writes down the windows name (the game name) and date+time.

Can't find any settings in Fraps to change this.
Therefor I wonder if there's any way I can do to fix this easy? Or do I really have to rename all this like File_0001; File_0002 ; and so on?

Screenshot on it: http://prntscr.com/35mwe1

As you see, I did select first item and still the "Open still image sequences" aren't active due it doesn't react the order of the files.

Windows allows you to batch-rename files. Select the files you want to rename, right-click and choose "rename". Input your name with a number at the end ("File_0001" for instance) and all consecutive files should be renamed properly.
