Tips for gopro editing?

Postby Effects on 03/18/2014, 12:55 pm

Well, I recently started shoot timelapse with a gopro.
My idea is to make a big timelapse video all around my city, massive of great looking timelapse clips.

I tried use gopro cineform, but the editor aren't very great in my opinon.. Same with sony vegas, I am not really sure how I can make it pop more, to get better colors and all.
After effects I'm not very sure too about.

However, in photoshop I've some filters to play around with, and I tested to edit all the photo sequences in photoshop using action/batch.
The result were much better than the outcome I got from vegas and cineform, here is a comparing video:

Though, I wanna know if it's some great way to do similar effect in after effects or vegas? I can't find the way to do this other than in Photoshop.

After Effects and Photoshop have some very similar tools between them. Premiere also has some similar tools. I'm sure Vegas does as well. These programs take some time to learn though, so don't give up on one too quickly.
