hd format? i have to use final cut HD?

ALso the instruction say that you can see high quality only on the television with a HDMI CAble ...but can i edit my videos in HD quality on mac?
How can i import my videos on FINAL CUT PRO ? i asked this question becouse you can only transfer data with usb cable....WTF???

You'll need Final Cut Studio 3 for full compability with AVCHD. Then you connect the camera and you should see the memory stick appear in Finder. Use Log and transfer, select the memory card. Then you'll have all the clips available for ingest.

AVHD and AVCIntra is a new standard..

What version of Final Cut Pro are you using anyway?

I have no idea what you're talking about regarding iMovie. I've never used it.

avchd is pretty new tech so your gunna need newer software to use it. m2ts is the best compression for avchd but yeh of course to get the best quality you need a blu-ray/ps3 player a hdmi cable and a hd tv. otherwise your defo guna lose quality
after effects is like cake.....hmmm cake

No recompression is needed as far as I know, but then again, I've never worked with AVC HD nor AVC Intra, yet.

But you WILL NEED Final Cut Studio 3 (or possibly iLife 09) in order to be able to use it.
