One Man Army - Attila the Hun made in his bedroom

Postby Rob Neal on 11/4/2009, 2:55 am

How one person created over 250 Visual Effects shots in less than six months for the BBC drama 'Attila the Hun'. As well as directing the hour long film, Gareth Edwards also created all the Visual Effects 'from his bedroom' using just After Effects, 3DS Max and some tracking software. :o

Just shows what can be done.
Just a shame nobody told him about Trapcode Particular for the crowd shots.

Incidentally, believe it or not, yes, there IS a tutorial for this! - http://www.fxphd.com/courseInfo.php#AFX301
(The snag is, you have to pay for them.)

Even though this has been posted before I think that the sheer awesomeness of this is worth posting again. The last post didnt have the tutorial link either. Some of those shots are more convincing than others

I have this tutorial serie on my PC. It's very advanced and informative!
You learn about After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Boujou and 3DsMax.

I wish it were possible just to buy each tutorial series seperately >-|| It is very frustrating
