This is exquisite, marvellous piece of work, though some improvements can make this art work look more realistic, you have inserted all the needed effects to make it look real.

What I liked:
Your jumper effect is flawless
When the pace gets going it is as good as any chase scene from a blockbuster movie, really energetic
The duct created entirely in after effects is a masterpiece in itself
The jump out the window is a big task and I think you handled it amazingly, just some small masking issues

What I think could be improved:
There are moments where it seems slow, like there's shots where you're running and they go on too long, keep it short and snappy to keep the energy high
There's a moment before he jumps out the window where there's a mix of shots with various exposures and speeds, they seem a bit mismatched, not sure what you were going for here

Overall it's one of the best things I've seen posted on here, good job!

I loved it. All I can see that you could improve is a better finish to the whole film. By finish I mean color correction. You have probably done SOME color correction but it needs work. Some shots are over exposed (cant really fix that in post, must be corrected while filming).

the sound fx are simply sounds (or a mix of sounds) i found on Soundsnap
the music is from Pro Scores (i used Premiere to compose it)

the window jump sequence isn't too difficult. i just spent a lot of time on details
we simply filmed him in front of a greenscreen and i took a still image of the window (the same perspective you can see in the video). after that i used the 3D projection technique by Andrew Kramer to be able to make the camera move.
now i "just" needed to put him at the right position and animate his position and rotation. (don't forget to make the layer with the actor to ignore the light).

And to think I've been avoiding this thread because of the title...

Well, on to the C&C... Your compositing is good but can use light wrapping (check this out) to make some places like the window jump with the greenscreen better.
While certainly understandable due to a lower quality camera, the exposure in some places could have been adjusted so it isn't so hard on the eyes.
And a little more color correcting to give it a more "stylized" look might help... but not too much correcting like some people do. Just enough to give it an action/cinema feel.

But hey, that is very impressive... I stayed away from this thread because I had already seen too many "AWESOME EFFECTS!!!" and was very tired of it all. But I noticed that this thread had stayed at the top for some time so I had to check it out...

I know it's crazy but could you make a tutorial of the main effects or just tell me which ones you followed from AK, like the earth one you said.

well it's obviously that you can't be as experienced in after effects as i am 'cause i started my "after Effects career" about 3 years ago
sry but i can't make a tutorial....i just don't have enough free time to make one....
