DVD Menu (first real attempt)

Postby Director on 08/7/2008, 11:16 am

I didn't work a WHOLE lot on it, but I did spend a bit of time trying to figure out what would look interesting. :? BTW I do know that the lighting doesn't match, but I think that's fine.

Looks pretty good to me. but you might think about adding some extra stuff to the table just to give it a little extra flair. You know, like passports or watches.. whatever.
The reset button was my idea.

Maybe add the border shadow over the whole document, not just the wood?

but it's a cool idea!

True, but I didn't want a natural look really, I wanted the polaroids to stick out more.

I agree with you here. I think it keeps the focus on the photos if they are out of the feather.

Maybe add a bit of a drop shadow on the Polaroids that are on top, give bit of depth.

There is a drop shadow already, it's just not huge otherwise it wouldn't look natural.

hmm firstly can i say i really like what youve done.

in my opinion it may loo kbetter if you tried feathering the vinette a little more and possibly adding more of a bump map to the texture of the wood otehr than that i really like it

I only used a texture and didn't use any bump maps. :)
