For me the lighting is off. Especially fire which doesn't have any glow on objects around it.

That's really nice point..I should make fire bit more bright and glow on objects around it.
Thank you.. :)

The dynamics of the scene isn't working, or rather the energy of the moment needs to be more. Often with military films this is done through music (trepidation, impending doom, calm before the storm, heat of the battle), angle of the shot (a fly by to determine a landing zone), cuts between the point of view of the protagonist (the helicopter they are in), and the plot device they must overcome (downed helicopter).

I'd suggest taking a look at films like Black Hawk Down...but the after down shot of it down cuts to satellite feed. Battle Los Angeles, San Andres

Keep in mind if it's a rescue they usually have at least 3 to 4 depending on whether there is a threat on the ground or not. One to drop off, one to provide close proximity support, and one for long range support. The fourth is back up for plan b tactics.

So if you are going for a scene...it would be something along the lines of establishing shot on helicopters flying, cut to pilot of specific helicopter, or interior shot of gunman on deck, cut to over shoulder showing the crashed helicopter from side view as helicopter flies by.

And most definitely brighter in the color correction.
