Sam’s Discovery

Our new project wouldn’t be complete without Sam Loya discovering something magical so we found a way to get him in. I know there has been a lot of mystery on the blog recently and I apologize, it is not meant to be as suspenseful, it is just taking longer than expected

I really want to show you everything we are working on but I don’t want to ruin the surprise by releasing too much so I appreciate your patience. I will try to post small things as we go and we are very close to finishing!

    March 30th, 2011 @ 5:06 am
Since the moment i read "HERE IS A LITTLE EXAMPLE OF GOOD AFTER EFFECTS SKILLS" i knew that the video will be bad, but i made a mistake the video is more than bad, really profesionals never say they r good, is the ppl who tell them they r pros, and a little feedback when u r making a typo-related video the text have to be always fully readable no matter what.
    March 30th, 2011 @ 9:21 am
Great work bro. You never know what you're gonna get clicking on someone's link but it looks very sharp and you got that style worked out to a science.

Cant wait to see the finished product? Would it be easier to edit the Ball if it was a different color such as blue?

I guess does it make it more difficult to change the ball color cause it matches the background?

Well, it looks like he just did the same thing as the most recent ball tutorial and with the video he probably just used curves to adjust to get some yellowish hue then brought saturation down (keeping ball most saturated)

April 4th, 2011 @ 8:02 am
Hey kramer or someone can you explain how is done this non-cut scene:
    April 4th, 2011 @ 12:09 pm
It looks like they had the camera locked off, and animated the shaky look, and cut the video together so it looks like it wasn't cut. If you look closely you can see were they cut it.
April 4th, 2011 @ 8:03 am
(i really want to make my own fake of a car accident.)
April 4th, 2011 @ 8:06 am

So Happy for Sam! He really deserves to find something wonderful. I hope it doesn't warp his face demonically, or explode him, electrocute him, or swallow his soul.

April 8th, 2011 @ 5:54 pm
April 9th, 2011 @ 5:33 pm
Looking good as usual :)
One thing I did notice though. Since the SFX ball is bigger then the green screen one you kinda miss a couple of Sam's fingers. Allthough he might have chewed those off allready ;-)
Fazle Rabbi
April 9th, 2011 @ 11:01 pm

April 14th, 2011 @ 11:01 pm
That is the largest bouncy ball I have ever seen!! ...and it's about to disintegrate Sam's flesh off his face. Wait, is that the Charlie Sheen drug? Keep up the great work, guys-can't wait to see the final video!
