Andrew,
I have been religiously watching this site for quite some time now and the sheer idea that you can do just about anything your twisted imagination comes up with is truly a gift. Since I am a beginning VFX artist I have read a lot of books and watched a lot of tutorials but I worry that there is no way to remember all of these tips and tricks. How long did it take you to become proficient in after effects? I have been using it for about 6 mos now and i still struggle with anything that is not a basic title. I doubt you keep a notebook next to your workstation like I do, but what tips could you give us newbies to learn and retain these tips? Great TUT by the way.

What do you guys think about my filmtrailer? It's kind of like James Bond, Johnny English, Austin Powers, and Cops :)

Thank you kindly.
(The tut above helped me out recently, btw)

Excellent tutorial !

Explosions are nice to look at, but for people working in broadcast graphics (like me), these are the kind of tuts that are really useful!

THANKS!!!

Great tutorial!
It will be great for my new logo. But where do you get the writing sounds from? (I'm just a hobbyist and I want to impress my friends :P).

Greetings from Holland!

Really great tutorial! But I got a problem on it. When I apply the "paper_03" texture on the text and lines, the half up of the texturized part stays really odd. But half down of the drawning stays perfect!

Thank you! (:
