hey everyone i am here to share abt being a compositor .if u hab symptom of this then ur a compositor
You might be a compositor when....

... look up at the sky and bitch about how fake it looks.
... you look at your plate of spaghetti and see a shake script.
... when you open up photoshop and wish it was node based
... you burn out your retinas while thinking to yourself. "Wow the lightwrap on that is really good."
.. when you actually 'study' the way dust blows around, while cleaning out your vacuum cleaner
...every time you see your ex you mentally cover them with markers to be tracked and replaced later.
..you put garbage mattes on people you don't like.
...you see blue and green transparent.
...when you try to fix your life in the post.
... when you take a camera everywhere "just for reference photos"
... when you look more closely at the edge of things than at the things themselves...
.. when you see blonde hair blowing in the wind against a light background you think to yourself. "This is going to be a pain in the ass."
..when you want to find ways to CHEAT EVERYTHING and NEVER go back to 3d EVER again.
... when you look at the edges of your own shadow and wonder if you got that shot a while ago right or not.
... when you watch a high budget effects movie and notice the crappy green screen edge
... when you watch Tron and actually see the roto edges slightly chatte
..whn you wake up and instantly start complaining that the suns gamma is cranked up too much.
...or when you wake up and try to bypass the blur node. or attempt pause the playback of the world around you to sleep a while longer
...when you ask the photographer for the "clean plate" of your wedding.
...when you connect that one birthday gift to all of your relatives via strings.
When you automatically see tracking markers (including the keyframed paths) on stuff that comes into your vision (for example single leaves in the wind).
when you're starting wondering about how much frames per second real life is...
...when you look at the ultra sound picture of your very first baby and think "Hmm... I can probably fix this with some grain removal and some slight contrast adjustments".
...you look at all the filth in your apartment and wish you could just fade the dirt pass down
...when you play pool and you think about the best way to extract the balls from the green table
...when you listen to Blur every time you need to escape life
... when you start to contemplate how many hidden messages are written in the blue channel
..When you see a sun reflection/bloom on a metallic surface and wonder how much blur and what blending mode was used.
..........when you settle for 'less than stellar' vacation spots to be matte painted later.
...when you don't see the sky as a sky but as a bluescreen.
...when you starting to see matte lines around everyone
...when you think reality is becoming fake.
...when you look at sand pouring from your hand and realize that you could screen that as a waterfall.
...you see rotosplines around things in real life after a long roto session.
...a blonde with frizzy hair walks into the bar you think that's gonna be a hard one to extract.
...you point out mistakes or achievements in commercials, and your family thinks you're crazy.
...When you read about some really complex and clever bit of CG work, and think to yourself - "if they's shot a few real elements and done it in 2D it ...would've taken a tenth of the time, and looked twice as good"
...When you feel the need to turn off the lights and draw the curtains to watch a movie at home, so as to get decent blacks on your TV.
..When you spend more time sitting at a desk in a darkened room looking at 2 seconds of footage over and over again than you spend out in the sunlight, interacting with real human beings.
...when you see a hamberger as a perfect pre-comp of aliments layers.
When you wake up knowing the solution of your yesterday comp`s problem..
When you're buying an engagement ring and you think the 4 C's are Color Correction, Concatenation, and Convolve.
...You look at the view outside your apartment and think of endless ways it can be replaced with matte paintings
.....When all you care about is that tiny roto wobble in the lower right hand corner no one will ever, EVER, notice.Or you might be a supervisor?
...when you are reading ....... You might be a compositor........

I just purchased the 2K version of Action Essentials 2. I'm totally pumped now to use it.

It's very refreshing to have someone with the budget and experienced crew to be able to make special effects elements, and to make them affordable so that those who don't have the equipment or know-how can benefit in reaching amazing production quality.

Very much is appreciated with your generocity towards us in giving FREE lessons and helpful and affordable products. Thank you so much!
