hey andrew, that looks like its somthing that can help me out alot. part of after effects i really struggle with is the “thinking in 3D”, hopefully this tool is going to make the process easier.

Dear Andrew, I think I can make something like this using Bluff-titler for the 3D text animation, particle illusion for the moving boxes in the background, fruity loops for the music and about 24 hours of continous work, or I can just wait for your tutorial to see it all in after effects with your magic touch. The “3D” thing was made using 3 text layer but the rest 2 texts are moved back on Z space. If you’re watching it from the left it looks like it’s 3D. Am I right? Cool idea Andrew!

We all really appreciate what you do for the AE community.
It’s unprecedented and unique, and pretty selfless.
But I’m getting the feeling (maybe incorrectly) that there might be some resentment on your part because peolple have come to expect tutorials etc. from you as opposed to taking them as they come and for what they are- FREE. And done at your leisure and on your own personal time. Which is, no doubt- precious what with family and professional commitments.
But you also need to accept that you created this monster by creating probably the best, most thorough tutorials out there.
How’s business? I mean, are you making a profit? Do you need a little more quid-pro-quo from the community?
I would ask that everyone who has enjoyed Andrew’s tutorials please step up and purchase 1 (at least 1) DVD from VideoCopilot. It’s only fair.

If we were to have get out of our homes and go take some course or school to learn all the AE tricks we’d have to spend a whole bunch of money and not even learn half the stuff Andrew is teaching us. And there are some people here that use these skills for paid projects. I think by buying the DVD’s and other stuff it is the ultimate sign of gratitude for the man who’s sacraficing his valuable time to teach us stuff that we love so much.On that note I also think Adobe should be thankful for Andrew’s contribution to make AE the most popular program to make special visual effects.

Well when I first got the program I new nothing and I had no clue.I was lucky to find this great site and learn so much and still plenty to learn. Andrews teaching style is the best and it would of cost plenty of dollars to go to school to learn. What impressed me the most he is self taught which gives something to look forward to.I probably will never get to his level but, I am having allot of fun along the way. Who knows someday i might make some money at this!!! I am retired and gives me something to do. This level of training is hard to find enjoy it and let hi do his thing. All good things come to who wait!!
