Dear Andrew:(I say dear because your are in my live many times) I decompress and install spanish version of your incredible preset (Thank you, man!) and AE says this:

"After effects advertencia: la clase "Effect" no tiene ninguna propiedad ni metodo con el nombre "Casilla de verificaciÛn" Expresion deshabilitada.

The problem is:
when i decompress the files the text "verificación" its convert to "verificaciÛn"
I tried to edit SureTarget.ffx in my copy of TextMate and find and replace all this words (10 in total) but when i saved it and place at the scripts folder again and open AE, the software says "The file is incomplete"...

Can you help me?

I know i can open up Ae in english but its better for my in spanish (as you can see at my horrible english)

Thanks and Peace

I know it was stated earlier, but when useing Sure Target(a wonderful time saving tool btw) Make sure to make the null object 3D and parent the camera to it before placing the preset. If you do not there will be some scripting issues... that make take a minute to figure out.

Inserted this into a project that I had started last year. The initial time it took to keyframe the camera took a total of about 3 hours and was difficult. Sure Target only took about 3 minutes and looked cleaner than my original.

Andrew, is there a way to take all of the SURE TARGET keyframes and convert them to regular keyframes for the null, thus getting rid of SURE TARGET and enabling some fine tuning of the position, angle etc? I love SURE TARGET, but with my 2.5D video, I can't zoom in close enough to some of the targets.

Andrew:

Thanks so much for all of your contributions. I am essentially a video producer and consequently animation is a necessity for me rather than being my forte. Your tutorials have been instrumental in propelling me into the world of After Effects.

There's nothing worse than having to sit down to a bunch of dry tutorials in angst to learn a new application; especially one as daunting as After Effects. The tempo of your tutorials in addition to some humor along the way has made learning a joy.

It's obvious that you and your associates put in a substantial amount of effort in producing what I would consider the best tutorials on the market.

Thanks so much.

New to after effect, i was reading some of your stuff: is there anything that works for AE 8 for Macs. I just got the old version of the intel (10.5.6; processor 2.6GHz intel core 2 duo; 4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM). what should i buy from your site, and am i in the wrong place for a beginner?

really like your site, it made me want to tackle after effects.
