Robocop – the most underrated film of the 80’s. Iv’e got my Criterion copy (shame it’s NTSC :p) mind you Blu-Ray conversion is good & it includes deleted scenes! Buy that for a dollar…………………or two

You see, during the 80’s….inflation was at one of its highest rates, although we still were able to maintain our growth in the world as a Super Power while still being in a stand off with Mikhail Gorbachev behind the iron curtain of the Soviet Union. The dollar….well it represents how much we’ve changed in our society since that time. Because a lot of Americans need change when they need to buy a paper…or to put quarters into a laundry machine.

That or its just a quote from the movie.

So we’ve seen ‘Sam the Terminator’ in previous tutorials…. I think we need a “ROBO-SAM” tutorial!!!! sweet!

lord kramer, are you familiar with a band called “mr bungle?” they have a song titled “the girls of porn” and they use that sound bite towards the end. it’s awesome!

hmm how about a tutorial on animating robots like the ed 209 using the puppet tool?or robotics that protude from people like robocops pistol or data needle. Anyway thowing some stuff due to the flashback. Also i agree with cc 3d camera match moving / tracking….that’s the stuff.
