This and that

So I relaxed a little too much this past weekend and now I’m catching up on things. I wasn’t able to record the tutorial I wanted but I promise 2 new tutorials next week. WOW! I’d buy that for a dollar.

We will be covering some fun expressions and create some cool stuff too. See you then.

Andrew,

Thanks for the RoboCop trailer.

I give you a complete pass on not getting tutorials done. I've been creating my own Photoshop tuts and I can say from experience that they are hard work if you want them to be world class. Yours are world class. I have no problem waiting for your top quality stuff.

Thanks!
Chris

You have time to release two new tutorials for next? That's crazy... my mind can barely function anything except 'Dark Knight next week... Dark Knight next week' as I rock back and forward craddling myself.

Robocop - the most underrated film of the 80's. Iv'e got my Criterion copy (shame it's NTSC :p) mind you Blu-Ray conversion is good & it includes deleted scenes! Buy that for a dollar.....................or two
jorberg
July 8th, 2008 @ 12:19 pm
Highdefw --- You have to look deeper. Here's what he meant:

You see, during the 80's....inflation was at one of its highest rates, although we still were able to maintain our growth in the world as a Super Power while still being in a stand off with Mikhail Gorbachev behind the iron curtain of the Soviet Union. The dollar....well it represents how much we've changed in our society since that time. Because a lot of Americans need change when they need to buy a paper...or to put quarters into a laundry machine.

That or its just a quote from the movie.

July 8th, 2008 @ 12:40 pm
So we've seen 'Sam the Terminator' in previous tutorials.... I think we need a "ROBO-SAM" tutorial!!!! sweet!

July 8th, 2008 @ 3:28 pm
@ Jack Daniel Jenkins: I just LOL'd :D

PS: I can't believe they used The Terminator Theme for that Trailer...
July 8th, 2008 @ 5:39 pm
Sad that they didn't actually have the "I'll buy that for a dollar!" quote in the trailer. Man I haven't seen that movie in forever... I think I might go buy the Robocop 3-pack for $13 at Wal-Mart.
July 8th, 2008 @ 5:40 pm

i believe i smelled a tutorial there

cheers
July 9th, 2008 @ 4:48 am
highdefw, lord kramer was referring to a tv show that everyone watches in the movie "robocop." the main character keeps getting into food fights with busty women and yelling "i'll buy that for a dollar!!!"
lord kramer, are you familiar with a band called "mr bungle?" they have a song titled "the girls of porn" and they use that sound bite towards the end. it's awesome!

and here are raw images used in a comp:

http://www.bte.foxnet.pl/jasiek/japan/

Hope u like it! Greets
July 9th, 2008 @ 9:14 am
I hope it's something about 3D, but since there will be two tutorials, I'm guessing it's something a little bit easier. Anyhow, Andrew - you da man!
July 9th, 2008 @ 10:46 am
WOW! I’d buy that for a dollar....lol Robocop

hmm how about a tutorial on animating robots like the ed 209 using the puppet tool?or robotics that protude from people like robocops pistol or data needle. Anyway thowing some stuff due to the flashback. Also i agree with cc 3d camera match moving / tracking….that's the stuff.
