Hi Andrew and VCP,

I was wondering about some Posters. The thing is, I think it would be kind of bad orderuing one really great VCP-poster from the USA, it’s far to expensive in shipping costs.
So here’s the idea:
You could make a real cool, real big (that’s important!) VCP-Poster as PSD oder PNG (or maybe JPEG), so we could download it and order it at some of these fancy poster-ordering services. I really would appreciate having one of these in my flat – right above my bed or something

Would be really nice – it just had to be real big (like 3500 pixels tall) and poster-format. I even would pay those pictures, if they’re worth it

How about a competition where we have to make a tute for an After Effects topic you HAVE NOT covered. It would be good to reverse the game so to speak and it would allow lots of different ideas and tutes to be available from US for a change.

Surely a good idea? Maybe I should get a prize just for the idea.. Ok so maybe not..

Oh and I can`t believe you have not contacted me yet about my winning T-shirt entry.. those bad boys took nearly 20 mins to put together….

i hope to get atleast 1 copilots product but iam very very very far from ur place america. i had learn most of the things in aftereffects from u master. i would love to design more stuffs for u. n i wil. iam just waiting for the results from last 2 weeks now.

Building on Daryl’s excellent idea:
Why not doing like this: a tutorial competition, using one or more of VCP products.
E.G a tutorial showing a cool technique using Twitch and Riot Gear.
The winner is chosen by the community here and gets one of the winning T-shirt designs. This is a cool prize AND the winner makes additional publicity for VCP.

Just a thought…

The danger of using only VCP items is that we may end up with 100+ Copies of AKs tutes.

I thought by stipulating the tute NOT DONE by Lord Kramer that it may force a few new concepts/ideas. Anywoo I was just the idea, what ever happens I will be watching with interest.

Well its all in the hands of our lord VCP. But given the size of tutorials I would say a max 5 mins vid would still be a pain to store online etc etc, unless you link from youtube etc etc…

Anyhoo, just an idea nothing more..

Hey Andrew, I found out an amazing piece of information by using what you taught us in the proxies section of the Bullet: Now, maybe I shouldn’t go telling everyone since I don’t know how many people purchased it yet.. But! It is too cool to not tell anybody… OK, so remember how we rendered out those proxies from the footage we had? Well.. I discovered that if you just go manually and set a piece of footage that you are using to proxy itself.. which means it will still be at it’s same quality.. when rendered it will actually just “Replace the footage with itself” rather then “Rendering a blank clip with no editing done too it” [note I am using quotes as bold] and thus output is processed at a significantly faster speeed.. for example, a project that before took my computer 15 min to render, rendered in 2 min… this is what.. 7X faster?! lol.. thanks AK!!!
